Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

1. Who we are

TechTwins Infoservices (OPC) Private Limited operates yourpalmist.com and is the data fiduciary for your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. What we collect

  • Account: your name and email address, and your Google profile basics if you sign in with Google.
  • Reading details: date of birth and gender, which palmistry analysis requires.
  • Palm photo: the image you upload. We remove location and camera metadata on receipt.
  • Your reading: the analysis and readings generated from your photo, and a line-map image (your photo with the detected lines drawn on it).
  • Payments: order amount, status and Razorpay reference IDs. We never receive card, UPI or bank credentials.
  • Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, pages used, and error logs (including errors your browser reports to us), to keep the Service secure and working.
  • Where you came from: the website, app or ad link that brought you here (for example "instagram"), kept in a first-party cookie for 30 days and stored with your reading, to measure our marketing. We count visits without identifying you, and we don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use it

  • To create, deliver and store your reading, and email it to you.
  • To process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds.
  • To secure the Service, prevent fraud and fix problems.
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax records.
  • To send offers, only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time.

We process your palm photo and reading details on the basis of your consent, which you give before uploading. You can withdraw consent at any time; we will then delete the data, except where the law requires us to keep it.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with processors that help run the Service, under contracts that limit their use to our instructions:

  • AstrologyAPI: palm image analysis and reading generation (receives your palm photo, date of birth and gender).
  • Anthropic (United States): translates the text of your reading into Hindi. It receives the reading text only, not your photo, name, email or date of birth.
  • Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region): hosting and storage.
  • Clerk: sign-in and account management (stores your name and email; hosted in the United States).
  • Resend: delivery of receipts and reading emails.
  • Razorpay: payment processing.
  • Analytics and error monitoring providers, with personal identifiers minimised.

Some processors are outside India. Transfers follow the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India. We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

  • Palm photo and line-map image: deleted automatically 30 days after payment, or within 24 hours if you don't complete payment. You can delete them sooner from your account.
  • Unpaid photo checks: the record (hand and the birth details copied from your profile) is deleted after 7 days.
  • Your reading (text and PDFs) and account: until you delete them.
  • Payment and invoice records: for the period required by tax law.
  • Security logs: up to 90 days.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can access a summary of your data, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise your rights, and seek grievance redressal.

  • Download your data: Account → Your data → Download my data.
  • Withdraw photo consent and delete your palm photos: Account → Privacy.
  • Correct your details: Account → Edit details.
  • Delete your account and all your data: Account → Delete your account and data.

You can also email us to exercise any of these rights.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted and logged, and photos are stored privately. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

8. Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process children's data.
